Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
2. Familiarize oneself with the Grocery Standard Practice Manual.
3. Execute all assigned duties and responsibilities with a high standard of workmanship.
4. Report any equipment repairs or maintenance requirements promptly.
5. Ensure that received products meet the company’s quality standards and authorization criteria.
6. Ensure department compliance with pricing guidelines (where applicable).
7. Enter relevant information into both desktop and hand-held computers.
8. Fulfill any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Possess strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
2. Exhibit effective communication skills.
3. Demonstrate strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
4. Willingness to learn and handle multiple tasks and technical requirements, including successful completion of forklift and power jack training.
5. Meet the minimum age requirements for the position.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift cases weighing up to 40 pounds, constituting at least 50% of the workload.
2. Meet established volume and fixed activity standards.
3. Be able to stand or walk 100% of the time.
4. Engage in frequent reaching, grasping, and lifting of individual stock items below waist level or above shoulder level.
5. Be prepared for frequent bending.
6. Capability to handle various substances associated with cleaning materials, packing materials, and food products.
7. Tolerance for working in extreme hot/cold temperatures for up to 4 hours at a time.
8. Proficiency in using desktop and hand-held computers for data entry and retrieval purposes.

7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the outside dock area.
